I also liked that this play dealt with such progressive issues, especially for having been written in Jun 08, Saettare rated it it was amazing. Personally, I found the content to be pretty mediocre. The Hubbards are an unscrupulous, greedy, soulless Southern family Yoknapatawhans would know them as Snopeses. I can’t believe I’ve never read this classic. The entire play is set in the Giddens family hel,man room, which seems like it would add continuity to the play as a whole, but after a while it just got monotonous because it felt like I was just reading a REALLY long scene.
