To me, Frankenstein the novel does have its flaws, but the concept itself is just so great and it works on so many levels the good outweighs the bad to the point the flaws are overlooked.

Later Shelly stayed in Geneva in Switzerland where much of the story takes place. The illustrations in this edition of Frankenstein are so detailed, gorgeous, and emotionally rendered; they come at just the right parts of the story to expand the writing in dramatic ways, and are a pleasure to behold again and again.
