Wilier Twin Blade TT Tri bike US National UHC Team Frame Shimano & Corima Wheels.
Wilier is a great bicycle frame manufacturer in Italy and Wilier Twin Blades are the most exotic & fastest TT & triathlon bikes ever made. They rarely come up for sale, and one with the USA stars & stripes Eagle paint job is almost never—in fact this is maybe the second time ever. There is another Twin Blade for sale on eBay at the same price, small & plain black paint job.
The twin blade design is to channel the flow of air past the head tube (like the HOPE track bikes in the Tokyo Olympics). Production costs were very expensive so only a few were made—mainly for teams. This one for UHC (now Rally). UCI legal. Brakes are TRP and “hidden/integrated” to the frame.
Shimano Ultegra drive train, with oversized pulleys & Q-Rings, cabled bar end shifters but electronic shifter capable (with the really cool battery mount on the down tube). I’ll include 1 HED brake splitter so you don’t have to come off the aero position to slow down for turns.
The wheels are Corima carbons, 19mm with 23mm tires. Spokes front & 4 blade rear (I also am selling a carbon four blade front & carbon disc rear Corima TT wheel set).
I’ll include the Wilier tool bag but not the Speedplay pedals. Also including one carbon elite aero carbon water bottle cage and the handlebar adapter kit for narrower bars or to raise the bars (they direct mount to the fork blades).
This bike if super fast, the only thing that slows it down is the rider.
Super clean condition (only raced a couple times). Retiring from racing and reducing inventory—your gain.
