Vintage Ross Mountain Bike, Mt. St. Helens ( Force 1, Stumpjumper, Ritchey).
19" Frame
29" Stand over
All original besides the tires and I believe the "Kool Stop" brake pads that appear new or just with very little use
Handle grips are still plush and not heavily dried out
Shifts through all gears beautifully
SR Hubs laced to Gold Ukai 26x2.125 Rims
Rims sidewalls are in great condition with some brake residue showing (could easily be removed)
SR Custom Crankset
Brakes also perform beautifully
Kool Stop Brake pads nearly new in condition
Both shifting and braking cables perform very smooth
Shifters are accurate and perform 100%
Includes original literature included at point of sale
One owner bicycle that’s been hanging in the garage for nearly 20 years unused
Chain could possibly need fresh lubricant. I lightly sprayed it with WD40 before I test rode it. Also the replacement tires I noticed had a sidewall repair performed at some point. I overinflated the tire to assure the repair was not going to fail then inflated it back to the proper level. At some point I would suggest replacing the tires
Has a handful of scratches here and there and the majority of the surface rust is along the inner rear dropouts
I lightly went after the dropouts with a rough sponge and it revealed that it was just surface rust not affecting the structure
Would clean up beautifully for show or be a great retro ride
