A very lovely in extremely good condition original mid Victorian lady's fan. Created with hand carved bone and hand painted on silk. The handles are all open work carved. Fabulously decorated with gold metal sequins.  It is 8.5" long w/out the gold metal ring which is accented with a round purple stone that possibly is an amethyst. When spread it is 17" wide.
