    Description

Okay. So, real talk here. You know you've got a problem when not only your riding buddies call you slow, but your significant other also makes fun of you for it. This problem requires an immediate solution. The solution must be faster than fast as f8ck, have parts which were designed by our lord savior Jesus Christ and it also has to be indestructible. With that goal in mind, you set out to find this new mystical bike. You check out the local Walmart store, go talk to a sales representative at a bike shop who thinks you're trying to buy a road bike and then you Transition to this ad and find my Smuggler. Ah ha.
This Size Large 29er Transition Smuggler trail bike has 140mm of travel front and 120mm back and it is ready to annihilate any road, trainer, peloton race - wait what am I talking about. This bike lays in the sweet spot of all trail bikes out there, capable of tackling everything from a mellow DH park, to some sweet Bentonville flow lines and heck, if you had the desire to kill yourself in a cross country race, you might end up in first place with this bike. The point is, the Smuggler is what people call the perfect all around bike. This specific build is somewhat of a Michelin star restaurant. You've got some parts which are just Wow, and then others which are still wow, but with a lower case w. Up front I've got a 2020 Rockshox Pike Ultimate with 140mm of smooth progressive travel. A bit more niche, but still phenomenal: in the back there is a DVO Topaz shock. For those who aren't too caught up in the MTB world, DVO is more or less rare, but maintains the same if not higher quality and performance standards than Fox and Rockshox. The stoppers on this bike are what I refer to as a work of god. Shimano Deore XT. Four piston in the front and two piston in the back kind of plays with the same idea as Maguras. Except these actually work. Freshly bled and ready to shred, these guys will piss off any local trail steward for the amount of turns you'll be roosting. For the group set, I'm keeping things simple and straight forward. A cross over of an 11 Speed XTR and XT group set gives you all the bling you'll desire and good luck breaking it, dialed in shifting, simplicity and unbeatable reliability makes this one of the best group sets out there. The Wheels on this rig are from Mavic, and for all I care about, they work, they don't weight like a brick and the hubs go matchy matchy with the fork. They spin smooth, are set up tubeless and are ready to take a beating. Some other minor bits on the bike include a Bontrager line dropper which works flawlessly and that is paired with a carbon Bontrager handlebar. Oh, and almost forgot, the cake on the icing is the frame. It looks sick in person, and yeah, it has seen some love as shown in the pictures. But nothing beyond the paint and no structural damage that I know of. The worst damage in on the drive side chain stay, near the rear pivot bolt as pictured.
Everything on this bike is riding dialed. As mentioned, brakes were just bled, shifting is crisp, suspension is silky smooth, wheels are rolling like a charm, dropper is engaging perfectly and everything has tons of life left in it. In addition to all that, you won't ever have to stress about cracking a carbon frame and you can ride your soul away however you please. If bike is bought at full asking price, I'll throw in the pedals as well as a fork service. Shipping and packaging is on me, PayPal fees on you and I'm more than happy to send more pictures, answer any questions and consider reasonable offers.
