The HAMMOND44 series PRO-44Hv2 is a keyboard harmonica created in collaboration with Hammond and Suzuki Melodeon.
Its greatest feature is its built-in pickup microphone. It delivers a clear lead sound with reduced percussion sound evenly over the entire bandwidth, a sound that cannot be achieved with an external microphone. The sound makeup can be freely changed by connecting to an equalizer or effects pedal. Even an electric band with loud instruments can make a clear statement.

The reed is a newly designed reed for 44 keys, inheriting the tapered reed at the heart of the PRO-37v2 (currently PRO-37v3), the pinnacle of the Suzuki melodeon. It features a bright, soft sound and is useful in folk duos and other acoustic ensembles. The keys have a slightly shallow stroke. It is finger-friendly and stress-free for tapping, fast fingering, and glissando, which are characteristic of keyboardists who do not use tonguing.
