Antique Meat Tenderizer Cleaver Combo.
It
is
perfect
example of
a
Amazing Old Butchering Tool!12”x5 1/4”x2”.
If I was to guess I’d say it’s probably from the late 1800s. It has a
Oak handle
that’s in really good condition. The meat
Tenderizer is missing
one tooth. The cleaver is
sharp
but if you were going to use it for its intended purpose I would suggest that you put a new edge on it
. Can
definitely be used for its intended purpose. I would
soak
the head
in water to expand the top of the handle because it is a slight bit loose but quite typical of a wooden handle tool of this age. The meat tenderizer and cleaver is constructed of one solid piece of steel. Unfortunately it does not have a maker stamp on it. Everything indicated in photographs. Thanks for taking a look!
