Antique Hand Fan Brisé Mother of Pearl 1880

Description

This is a wonderful Mother of Pearl brisé hand fan with gilt decorations.  Large, heavy and oh so stunning.  Its iridescence smile back at you.  There is a faceted stud on the screw rivet, a decorative brass loop and fancy tassel.  C1880, German or Austrian.  Excellent condition with no breaks or repairs.  Size - 8 1/2" tall and 15 1/2" wide.
