Military Style Jeep Golf Cart
This one of a kind military Jeep style vehicle is built on an actual Yamaha golf cart frame and chassis.  The body is all steel, custom hand fabricated, not a cheap kit. Paint color is low gloss desert tan. The lettering and graphics are all vinyl and can be easily changed. 100's of hours were invested in the restoration and creation of this one off golf cart build. Everything is serviceable and parts are available.
Overall condition is excellent, though not a show vehicle, and has some normal wear and tear.  Everyone that sees this vehicle has great things to say, it's very, very well built and shows very well. Gets lots of attention. Was built and used by an older couple that only used it at their campground on the weekends. They no longer are able to camp and decided to sell their dream cart.
The chassis is a Yamaha G1 golf cart and has a full steel tube frame, built like a race car. It sports a 6" Jakes suspension lift kit with custom coil over shocks, and has 22" knobby tires. She rides very smooth and soft, super comfortable.  It takes bumps very well with no jarring or bouncing, it feels stable and controlled. Steering is tight and predictable. Stops perfectly as it should with the factory rear drum brakes. Has switched running lights, headlights, tail lights, and reverse lights, and under dash lights for safety. Also has two non-locking glove boxes and 3 cup holders built into the dash to hold your beverages of choice. The rear storage area was built to hold a cooler and works well for a doggie too.
The engine is a 16hp Honda style 4 stroke engine that starts and idles like a car. The drivetrain is an automatic belt drive CVT like a golf cart and has a forward, neutral, and reverse transaxle. Gears are selected with the gear shifter lever on the floor.  The engine will allow you to drive nice and slow, but also has the power to really move if you so desire.
Runs like a top, nice and quiet, good enough for the neighborhood or campground. Starts with a key switch like a car and will sit and idle nicely.  Shifts perfectly into gear, very smooth and easy.  Acceleration is smooth and powerful to an engine governed top speed of 30-32 mph. Cruising at 20-25 mph is effortless, comfortable, and controllable. It's about twice as quick/fast as a normal golf cart.
This cart was built to be a campground cruiser, although it is very capable in light off road situations.  It is not intended to be a race car, although it is faster than your average cart.  It was built right, very reliable and fun to drive.  You'll get lots of attention and thumbs up from passers by.
